Pastor Matt was my youth pastor during high school. I grew in my understanding of the Scriptures and my love for the Lord under his guidance. Michelle has been a wonderful friend, counselor, and example as I made many important decisions throughout my high school and college years. I am so grateful for their genuine love for Christ and desire to serve Him. Now they have three children. Bethany (2nd grade), Julia (Kindergarten), and Benjamin (2 yrs. old) are now a part of the Conrad clan. Pastor Matt and Michelle became full time missionaries to Hong Kong in August of 2011. Now they are getting established, learning the language, and becoming connected with their team. They are with Biblical Ministries Worldwide www.biblicalministries.org. For eight weeks this summer, I have the opportunity to be with the Conrad family in Hong Kong. I will watch the children as both Matt and Michelle take a full time language course together to learn Cantonese. This is an exciting opportunity for me to be part of their ministry and serve my Savior. While I am there, I look forward to also worshipping together in their church, learning about the culture in Hong Kong, and learning from their ministry. The Lord continues to give me a desire to serve Him on the mission field. I know this is a step of preparation as I hope to one day serve Him on the mission field.
