I am excited to report that only through my Savior's strength, have I completed three years of school and now I am on the brink of my senior year. Pensacola Christian College is equipping me for serving my Savior in the field of education and so much more.
August 15th I start my internship at Pensacola Christian Academy. As the semester continues I will gain more responsibility in the classroom. By Christmas time, I will have full responsibility in the classroom and my advisory teacher will only observe my teaching performance. I am thrilled to begin another exciting adventure!
My goals for internship:
1. Ultimately, bringing glory to my Savior in every area of preparation and practice.
2. Learn fun and helpful teaching ideas from my advisory teacher and record them for my future use.
3. Broaden my imagination and application of simple concepts to help explain the unknown.
4. Create visuals and other tools that I can use repeatedly in classrooms.
5. Further evaluate different teaching philosophies so that I will be well grounded in the best training for children.
6. Enjoy every moment!!
My verse for this semester: Deuteronomy 6:5, "And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."
